Hepatitis E: The incidence of hepatitis e is highest in juveniles and adults between the ages of 15 and 40. Mortality rates are generally low, for hepatitis e is a “self-limiting” disease, in that it usually goes away by itself and the patient recovers. However, during the duration of the infection ( (usually several weeks), the disease severely impairs a person’s ability to work, care for family members, etc.

Hepatitis E: The symptoms of hepatitis e include typical signs and symptoms of hepatitis include:  jaundice (yellow discoloration of the skin and sclera of the eyes, dark urine and pale stools); anorexia (loss of appetite);
an enlarged, tender liver (hepatomegaly); abdominal pain and tenderness; nausea and vomiting; fever. These are the same symptoms as in other forms of hepatitis.

Like A: It's similar to hepatitis a in terms of transmission (fecal-oral) but tends to occur primarily in developing countries.  It can be very severe in pregnant women.

D body fluids E from: The hdv virus, aka the delta virus, causes hepatitis d in people who already have hep b.  Like hep b,  transmitted through sexual contact, contaminated blood or sharing needles.

The hepatitis e virus is spread through contaminated food or water.  Found in developing countries. No reported case of long term liver damage from it.

Yes and no: It's possible to convert from e antigen (hbeag) to e antibody (hbeab) with treatment of hepatitis b.  This is a good thing, as it means your hepatitis is less active and you are less infectious to others.  However, hepatitis b itself is not considered to be 'curable, ' and conversions from surface antigen (hbsag) to surface antibody (hbsab) rarely happen.

All contagious: All are contagious, but route of transmission varies: 
hep a: fecal-oral (contaminated food, sex, children with dirty fingers).
Hep b: sex, blood contact (sharing needles, needle sticks)
hep c: blood contact (sharing needles, needle sticks), some sexual transmission (e.g. Fisting or rough anal sex)
hep d: you have to have hep b to get hep d
hep e: like hep a, mostly in developing countries.
