See below: If your cycles are normally 30 days you would most likely ovulate on cycle day 15 or 16.  This would have been december 26th or 27th. Having intercourse as close to ovulation as possible will get results better. Sperm can live 4-5 days while the egg 36 hours max. You might have had intercourse too late this cycle.

Only your body knows: When it is going to be ready. The good news is you are young and assuming you have no other medical problems you are likely to be very fertile. The question will be when are you ovulating. Have you had regular cycles in the past? Did you use the pill prior? Why did you start the pill, only as birth control? So if you have had regular cycles before, you should be pregnant w/in 10 months. Take a PNV

IUD: You should have a period for the next cycle. I would wait at least for one cycle to be sure all is back to normal and then count new cycle to try to conceive. :)

TB: You should discuss your status with your physicians who know you. Tb can cause breathing difficulties if it is extensive enough but often doesn't if it has been treated early. What your future is related to it can't be predicted from out here without much more data which your doctors likely have and can explain to you.

How to Conceive: First i recommend you discuss this with your girlfriends.  There is also a vital book called "our bodies our selves" that should be in every women's bookshelf.

If you have not become pregnant with multiple attempts you may need a fertility specialist.  But, if you have not been too active, frequent sexual intercourse if the next best step.

Time for consult: If you have been having unprotected sex with your partner for more than a year & not conceived, a workup at a fertility center may be the best way to find answers. Both you & your partner will need to be evaluated. Your regular OB can sometimes start the process but the center can study you both & provide information on assisted pregnancy if needed.

Conception : First of all you need to be off all birth control methods - I mean all . Know your fertile time , which is day 1-14 . Counting the day you start your period as day one . Be prepared to have  sexual activity with a male or artificial insemination during the fertile time and hope for the best . I am saying it will happen , providing both of you are healthy .
