Go to ER: You should go to the ER for dehydration when you feel weak and dizzy  when you stand up. Unless you are deprived of water, it is not all that common to get seriously dehydrated. However, if you do feel that way go to an ER and be evaluated. Good luck.

Clear liquid diet: A clear liquid diet is one where the liquids you ingest are transparent, such as apple juice, beef or chicken broth and tea among others. The doctors in the hospita who took care of you there should have provided you with a list of these liquids and when you can advance your diet to solid food. Good luck.

When lightheaded: Prolonged vomiting can lead to severe dehydration, which is typically manifested by severe fatigue and lightheadedness when getting standing.  If you develop these symptoms and you still cannot keep fluids down, you probably need to the hospital for intraveous fluids and other therapy to treat the vomiting.  High grade fevers should also prompt early vists to the er.

: The only way to treat dehydration at home is drink plenty of fluids. Something like Gatorade would likely be best. If you are drinking well and urinating well, there is less of a need to go to the hospital.

Depends: It depends how dehydrated you are. You might get couple liters off IV fluids and anti nausea medications. They will keep you typically until you are hydrated enough and you are able to keep down something orally without vomiting.

: Toradol can uncommonly cause anxiety. Glucose not so much.

Anxiety much more likely due to the condition that brought you to the hospital

Yes: Everyone loses strength when they are in bed for several days. There is probably a home health care agency affiliated with your hospital. Contact them and see if your mother qualifies for some home health aids or physical therapy assistance to help with her rehabilitation. I am certain the case managers at the hospital can help you. It may take a few weeks to regain strength.

Mgt: There may be a bruise at the site. Watch for any signs of infection such as pus or redness.
