If you sleep on a pillow without an allergy cover, the all-night-long exposure might last a couple of hours, or if you're highly allergic to dust mites, it might last all day.

You  bet: Sress  can  be  a  factor  in  each  and  every  disease  idirectoly,  sress  (  ulcers,  headache,  adrenal  outpore,  obesity    and  so  on)   under  stress  you  donot  clean  the  house  and  then  balme  the  allergens.  So  find  out  the  cause  of  sress  and  work  on,  get  rid  od  carpet  in  the  bedroom, where  you  inhale  dustmite  for  8  hrs  costantly.

hi. i have found that i'm allergic to dust mites after some blood test. i have bought a new vacuum cleaner that has a water filter. but got a allergic reaction this morning.

Different allergen?: Blood tests for allergy cannot possibly screen for every substance that one might be allergic to.It is thus possible that you reacted to something not covered in the allergy screen.Using a vacuum unlikely to extract ALL mite particles.Perhaps no carpet at all?

my allergist upped the volume and increased my dosage of my serum for dust mites and mold. i got quite a reaction on my arm with redness and a hard bump. that was all i hadand it was gone the next day.  is this normal or is it worrisome?

But dust mite allergen is very common in the environment, so continued exposure throughout the night and day can cause continuous symptoms. If taking an antihistamine on a regular basis doesn't help, see your primary physician or allergist.

Contact allergy: Bed bugs tend to cause red raised bumps that show up in clusters and even straight lines.  Dust mites do not bite.  A contact dermatitis is a reaction to something your skin comes into contact with like soap, laundry detergent or even wool. This type of rash is widespread and not as raised but also red.  All of these rashes are itchy but the treatment varies.  Avoiding the cause is step one.

i have dust mite and cottonwood allergies. i use flonase for the stuffiness but, it only lasts a couple of hours. is there something else to try or can i supplement the flonase with another medicine?

Look  your allergens: The best treatment of allergies is to avoid your allergen, dust mites are in pillows, mattress, box springs and carpets. Get encasings that are air-tight, wash your bedding in hot water and if you can change wall to wall carpeting. In the meantime you could increase the dose of Flonase to 2sprays twice a day and add Zyrtec or Allegra once a day. Best wishes.

If treated 5to7days: If treated and re exposure is avoided it may take 5to7 days to clear
but further exposure must be avided to prevent recurrence and treated with antihistamines and in severe cases you may need short course of oral steroids.

can i take levolin inhaler and cetrigine 10mg together for asthma and dust mite allergy?

Non specific: Asthma and allergy medicines would help control your symptoms, but if you are sure allergic to dust mites, you first need to avoid exposure as much as you can by using environmental control measures, and if still symptomatic, ask an experienced allergist whether you are a candidate for specific immunotherapy against dust mites, goodluck
