is it ever too late to take a pregnancy test? i had protected (pill & condom) sex in middle november. i have taken a couple of tests, all have been negative, but i read somewhere that the at-home pregnancy tests stop working after so many weeks?

Never to late: Home pregnancy test are very reliable. The problem can be taking the test too early before there is a rise in  HCG (the hormone that increases with pregnancy) You were protected and have had multiple negative test. You are not pregnant

Stage of what?: I'm not sure what you mean.... at what stage of pregnancy?  Or what stage of expiration date of the test?  A urine pregnancy test will be positive all the way through a pregnancy and sometimes up to 3-4 weeks after delivery.   As for expiration date, I would trust a test the most prior to it's expiration date, but it's likely it's still accurate for 6 months after.

Pregnancy test ?'s: Once a pregnancy test is positive, it will remain positive during the duration of the pregnancy.  If the test is "negative or equivocal", after in initial "positive", see your OB physician, who may order an ultrasound to confirm pregnancy progress, and/or a quantitative HCG test.

See a MD: Prolonged diarrhea and vomiting can cause severe dehydration with adverse consequences to your health and heart. Go visit a MD for an exam, please.

my question is, i did a home pregnancy test but the tip of the strip that says "max" the part of the strip telling you were to stop, if it pulls off, can the result still be accurate?

Be safe, re do: If you had sex since your last period and missed your period, re go the test. If the result is negative repeat the test 4-5 days later unless you get a period by then. Use first morning urine and follow the instructions for the test carefully. 
If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.

will a pregnancy test be accurate 17 days after sex i have nexplanon but not sure if its working?

Nexplanon ?'s: Nexplanon is a progestin inplant, and will provide variability in predictability of periods, but is close to oral contraceptives for prevention of pregnancy, nearly 96-98 %.  If ovulation has ocurred, a home test is accurate about 14 days after ovulation.  The problem is that Nexplanon can inhibit ovulation onset, so a negative test just assures the absence of pregnancy at that time.

the control window of my pregnancy test was working fine one line but the result was all pink no lines but all pink am i pregnant?

Unsure: On the back of the pregnancy test box there will be instructions and a picture demonstrating  what that particular brand shows for a positive and negative test. Compare your results to that. If it does not look like either then that test may not be working and you should try another one or confirm with your doctor

YES: Blood pregnancy tests are the best way to provide accurate information regarding the possibility of pregnancy.

Category D: Both medications are category d: there is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk (e.g., if the drug is needed in a life-threatening situation or for a serious disease for which safer drugs cannot be used or are ineffective). Ask your doctor asap for alternatives.
