No: There are no symptoms associated with implantation. One-sided cramps can happen related to ovulation though, also other reasons.

this may be a dumb question. but does implantation always cause bleeding? and if you get cramps, can they be a dull pain but still noticeable, felt?

Myths: Implantation bleeding is a myth. The fetus, smaller than a speck of dust, does not cause trauma when it lands on the wall of the uterus. If there is any blood it may be one or two insignificant spots. Bleeding is something other than implantation.

Patience...: One can do a urine pregnancy test 2 weeks after presumed implantation, if by that time one's normal regular period has not occurred. If one's normal regular period comes, then the pregnancy test is not needed.

Too many variables: To tell you. If concerned check a hot, . Plan b needs to be taken as soon as possible after intercourse to be effective., have you ever heard of protection? Then you wouldn't be worrying like you are now, and you wouldn't be potentially exposing yourself to an std or HIV infection.

each time after an iui, i get cramps on 10th-12th day post iui. and 1 day late of actual period, i get very dark brown gel like period (no flow). and 1 day light period and gone. any reason for this? is it because implantation failed?

Fertility follow up: It is possible  that you are being treated with medication to induce ovulation to be timed with your IUI cycle. These medications may alter the cycle. I would schedule a follow up visit to discuss the fertility plan. Your question implies that you have done IUI multiple times. If it is not working then other fertility options may need to be considered

Implantation: implantation bleeding is much more common on the internet than in real life. It occurs rarely and exclusively in someone who is pregnant. The only way to know if someone had implantation bleeding or just irregular menstrual bleeding is to wait and see if you are pregnant. If your test is positive then this was implantation bleeding. If it is negative then it is just irregular menstrual bleeding.

Doubtful: Implantation normally does not cause any cramping.

Take a test : If you think you might be pregnant check then check a home pregnancy test. They are cheap, reliable and available  at any pharmacy.  If you were pregnant it would be positive by now.

Need more info: Hard to say. Are you on birth control medication? Have you had unprotected sexual intercourse? How long has this been going on? Please see your GYN physician because if you might be pregnant you want to get good prenatal care now.

May be: Conception, as defined by the generation of a fertilized ovum, occurs within day or so of the sex. However, it takes about two weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG to produce a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.
