It's conclusive: It's pretty much impossible to have HIV for 4 weeks or more and have a negative combo test. Persons or websites saying otherwise are either not up to speed in their knowledge or are providing hyper-conservative advice.

: You have no cause for worry. Any source advising more than 6 weeks (or 45 days) misunderstands the test or wrongly is confused with other tests, not AgAb (4th generation) HIV blood tests. The only exception is when anti-HIV drugs are taken for post-exposure prophylaxis. If PEP fails, it can take up to 6 weeks after the last dose of drug.
