Get a nephrologist (kidney doctor) who will look for ways to slow/prevent loss of kidney function, and if needed prepare for end stage kidney disease.

Diet: That is a great question and depends on the degree of kidney disease. For example those with less than 30% function should restrict salt, fluid, potassium and phosphorous. You have protein in your urine (P), which can be an ominous sign. You are on olmesartan (O), which can reduce both protein in the urine and hypertension. Ask your doctor if you can have your dose of O increased, that will reduce both your blood pressure and P.
