Tunnels: Dermal refers to skin. So a female sinus tract usually refers to an open tunnel between the skin and an underlying sinus.  Don't hesitate to be seen for an exam.

i had perianal absces while ago, after i went through mri it said i had 8cm perianal sinus tract the dc who exminated me said there is no interal opening and the mri result is right, my last mri said it is only 1,2 cm now, can it heal by it self?

hi doctors, i went under mri scan 3 month ago it said i have a perianal sinus tract 8cm length and today i went under a new one and it said it is 1.6 cm fistula how is that evin possible? i mean this is a bunch of difference?

: All imaging results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, 3 months is long enough for the body to have reacted to the lesion and altered the dimensions and layout of the lesion. Wish you good health!

my 12 yr old daughter is suffering  w/sinus  tract  inf.  & w/ asthma . she is currently takin nebulizer treatments & prednisone. isn't working?

Document and treat: With the above hx, a sinusitis not responding to rx, which i presume from your history, can cause this. An x-ray/ct to document sinusitis would lead a doc to change antibiotics if there is a lack of response, or look for other causes (severe allergies, gastroesophageal reflux, airway irritant exposure, pertussis, etc.). Pulmonary functions to ascertain how much asthma is contributing can be helpful.

Larva migrans?: See if cutaneous larve migrans is a match. I'm also going to assume you are not describing scabies. Otherwise, I doubt this is a parasite burrowing.

Same: Okay to ask your doc using these terms for clarification. They are basically the same, a long thin component to the wound. Sinus/tunnel can be difficult to treat. Okay to ask for referral to wound clinic or wound specialist. Be well.

Migraine: As long as the headache comes and goes and you don't have them every time you lean, and you don't notice discharge from your nose, your more than likely experiencing a migraine.  Everybody with recurrent headaches however should have CT scan or MRI.  With this scenerio, they rarely come back abnormal.

Different causes: Flu is caused by a strain of influenza virus. It usually is sudden in onset and causes high fever and chills. Antibiotics won't make it go away any faster. A sinus infection is a bacterial infection usually occurring as a complication at the end of a head cold, so it comes on gradually. Fever is less common, and bacterial sinus infections often get better faster with antibiotics.

Almost definitely: Ventricular tachycardia is a potentially fatal heart rhythm. Most people feel lightheaded and either pass out or come close. 
Sinus tachycardia is completely normal.

what does interval opacification of the sphenoid sinus mean? differences between the different sinuses?

Inflammation/infctn: It means compared to the prior images (i'm assuming you had a sinus ct done) there seems to be some fluid or discharge in the sphenoid sinuses which is one of the inner most sinuses, more inside of the brain. If infected severely, the infection could spread to the brain.Infection is less common, more in the frontal and maxillary sinuses. Opacfication might mean discharge from allergies as well.
