why would my girlfriends hands smell like onions and she hasn't eat any she's actually allergic to them?

Smelling function: Has anyone else besides you noted this odor?  If yes, has been been handling other plants in the allium family of which onion is one of the members  www.homeguides.sfgate.com › Garden › Grow Vegetables
If she works in the food handling business this may be a  source of the odor also. If no one else but you has noted this odor, you will need to get yourself checked out.

well, i'm down to about 3 to 5 smokes a day. going to quit. no problem but what to do with hands? eat jellybeans? geesh. :-)

Insulin resistance: You have apparent Insulin resistance . If you don't eat sugar then you develop hypoglycemia. I think that you need to   eat more protein  with your meal. I suspect that you are apple prone to metabolic syndrome. Hypoglycemia is the first manifestation fo for many patients.

if i touch a cardboard box that is soaked with diesel fuel or petroleum with my hand and i eat a cookie with the same hand that touched the fuel, will there be damage to my body?

Accepted Answer

No: A one time episode will not cause any issues. The amount of petroleum product you ingested would be minimal and the body can detoxify that. Recurrent episodes are a different thing and may overload the body'a ability to detoxify. Ideally you should wash hands before eating anything to protect your health.

i had my hands in the trash only for a bit on the top portion of it not all the way in what can possibly happen if i were to eat french fries but i forgot to wash my hands from touching the inside of the garbage  and there were cups straws etc?

Probably nothing: There is always a risk of eating a contaminated particle of debris or bacteria from the can. The common culprits are viral causing nausea vomiting and are self limited. Think of a cruise ship virus you get sick from the buffet handles and door knobs etc then you put them in your mouth rub an eye etc.
I doubt anything will happen to you. That's part of stomach acid, to kill particles

If you are psycho: Because you bite your nails - then I am psycho too. No, biting or biting off ; ingesting bits of nails does not make you "psycho". It can be a compulsive behavior or a stress coping behavior. There are better ways to cope with stress. Cognitive behavioral therapy ; hypnosis are 2 of many ways this can be addressed. Take care.

Tremors: Does it happen when you try to write or type? Could be what is called intention tremors. Consult with your PCP or Neurologist as soon as possible.
