stiff upper back for a few weeks. have chest pains that seem to be on the surface, but sometimes just get weird sensation like tightness. seems to move around & doesn't last very long. middle chest tight & pops. should i be worried??

Back: If the symptoms are not worsening and resolve, continue regular activity. Consider some regular back stretches and exercise. If the symptoms do not resolve or worsen get seen.

i get chest pains, tight and into my neck, my heart rate on average is around 80bpm but can reach over 110bpm rested, i also get pain under left rib?

Angina or stress ?: You need to be examined and tested by a cardiologist like getting an ekg, stress test, echo or the heart . If everything turns out to be normal then it is stress or anxiety causing it.

hello. about a week ago i abruptly had tight and compressed chest pain. a few days pass and i feel fine. until may 15, i started to get chest and upper back pain. but the majority of my pain is on the left side of my back and minor chest pain. ?

Dr eval: Left sided chest pain is best evaluated by a Dr -it can be due to many things including pleurisy, lung infection, heart disease, musculoskeletal, shingles, &amp; more.  Dr can do a thorough history &amp; physical exam &amp; possibly chest X-ray, ECG &amp; lab work to ascertain cause

if my doc cleared my heart but i get dizzy sometimes after working out and chest pain during the day what can it be? my back and neck are also tight.

?excessive: work out can lead to muscular pain and exhaustion can cause dizziness. Drink lots of water. Excess sports drinks or protein supplements or Anabolic steroids could complicate symptoms

See details: It is difficult to postulate a cause. The only suggestion I have is to see an orthopedist if the discomfort is an issue. Otherwise, see if it resolves with time.

Cardio-pulmonary eti: Cardiac or pulmonary problems are included in the etiologies of chest tightness. Blockages in the coronary arteries ie. The arteries which feed the heart blood can do this.  Also, a pulmonary embolism ie. A blood clot in the lungs can cause this.  It could also be caused by pneumonia or irritated muscles of the chest or less likely a dissection of the thoracic aorta.

Chest pain:  if you are having sharp chest pain  That is something that is concerning.   Causes for chest pain can include cardiac issues pericarditis reflux respiratory problems particularly pulmonary embolus.  I would recommend that she do get evaluated.

Doctor can evaluate: Chest pain, tightness, or difficulty breathing, are signs that that she should talk with her doctor right away or go to the ER.  She should not drive herself (call for an ambulance if symptoms are more than slight). If it turns out not to be an abnormal rhythm, myocarditis, anxiety attack symptoms, stomach acid reflux, a collapsed lung, or pneumonia, the ER may still offer some treatment.

Angina ?: Coronary artery disease needs to be ruled out. See your doctor to get an ekg done. May need blood test and other tests including radiologic imaging depending to ekg.

Chest pain: Needs to be evaluated right away to make sure it is not a cardiac problem, i recommend she seeks care as soon as possible. Good luck!
