Fibrocystic changes: You could have fibrocystic changes. This is the most common cause of breast pain.  It can be aggravated by caffeine, stress, menstrual cycle and hormonal supplements. See below: Muscular/skeletal (chest wall pain), monthly cycling of hormones causing breast swelling - cyclic mastalgia or fibrocystic breast changes, lung issues (pneumonia, pleuritic, bronchitis), gastroesophageal reflux (heartburn), mastitis, large pendulous breasts causing stretching of cooper's ligaments, hidradenitis suppurativa, spinal or para spinal disorders.  Get checked by your physician.

No: The most likely cause of musculoskeletal pain is not cancer.  I see cancer patients, so I am always thinking about cancer, but primary care physicians see patients with these symptoms all the time. If they resolve they are likely musculoskeletal problems (arthritis, etc) but could be viral, etc. If worsening or not resolving then more concerning. See physician for follow up.

Check pregnancy test: In mid cycle some breast tenderness and occasional mid cycle spotting can happen with ovulation. But always check pregnancy if doubt. Sometimes even pregnant can experience mild like " period spotting .  breast tenderness and can be part of it.
