Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and hyrdoxyzine can also help..I prefer to approach it with the methods mentioned above to stimulate healing from the inside out. Allergy testing and food allergy testing with companies like alcat can also offer beneficial information. There is much that can be done to help.

Multiple modalities!: Eczema is treated in a few ways. The mainstay of treatment is usually either topical steroid creams or immunomodulaters. Keep in mind though that eczema is a chronic, recurring condition so there truly isnt a cure,  but there are methods to keep it under control. Using mild soaps like dove, and thick moisturizing creams daily, like eucerin or cetaphil is recommended. Antihist used for itch control.

Eczema: Unfortunately most people cannot get rid of their eczema. They can control the symptoms but it takes work and often work every day. It is important to keep the area moisturized and to avoid scratching. If the eczema is from a specific allergy (most isn't) then avoidance of that allergen is the cure. With attention most people can keep their eczema under control but there is no cur.
