Yes: Melatonin is a hormone that is produced naturally by the pineal gland in the back of the brain. It is produced when night falls and is related to circadian (about 24 hours) rhythm. If you are not producing the natural melatonin, the pills are not as good.

1st trimester nausea: The first trimester can be difficult due to nausea, vomiting and fatigue. Once the bhcg hormone levels plateau and begin to decrease, your symptoms will improve for the overwhelming majority of patients. Your tastes will change throughout your pregnancy. With adequate calories and pnv, you should be fine.

i am 5.5 weeks pregnant  and i want to know if i can continue taking a  supplemental dose of magnesium citrate. 300 mg, every day. it helps with sleep, anxiety and tension headaches from slipped disc.

Certainly: Congratulations! magnesium is an essential nutrient and is especially important during pregnancy, where it can prevent high blood pressure (pre-eclampsia) and other complications. It is completely safe to take during pregnancy.
I imagine you are already taking a prenatal with folic acid. Biotin and dha are other beneficial nutrients during pregnancy.

You're 21?: Don't take supplements. If you don't like fish, at least try to avoid red meat. Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, nuts, olive oil, a little wine, some chocolate, coffee, and tea you'll get lots of good anti-oxidants plus tasty foods to enjoy!

Prenatal: There is not a vitamin specifically recommended to increase fertility but it is advisable to be on prenatal vitamins prior to pregnancy to help decrease the risk of birth defects. Other than that, it is important that you be generally healthy yourself.

Sorry: for your loss. Make sure your diabetes is in PERFECT control before conception. IF your HgA1c is elevated, your have a sig chance of stillbirth.

There is a 15 percent chance of conception for each cycle. So, you many not get preg at first.

Pls see your gynecologist or Reproductive endocrinologist or Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist before trying to conceive.
