No worry: There is nothing to worry about. However, you should follow your doctor's advise about follow-up care.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

the blood and urine tests confirmed that i don't have herpes but i still have a lesion on my vulva. the doc prescribed valtrex (valacyclovir). y?

Mind reader: Unfortunately, I can't tell you what your doctor is thinking.  It is possible if you have a new onset herpes infection that the blood tests will not come back positive yet.  Also tests are not perfect and can miss things, so maybe your doctor is treating just in case.  However, there are other conditions  that can cause lesions on your vulva. If it does not go away see a gyn or dermatologist

First, I need your : Age.  It's unlikely a malignancy of the vulva, it's rare.  It's both sides and there is nothing palpable, just generalized itching? Does it keep u up? Have u seen a doctor?  One thing it could be lichen sclerosis et atrophicus which causes bad itching and u may be getting some relief with the steroid.  I would wait for a flare and go in, may need a high potency steroid cream, be informed about ls.

Needs Evaluation...: Infection is a common cause of vulvar itching; however, there are other, less well known causes.  For example vulvar vestibulitis and lichen sclerosis are skin conditions that cause itching.  Pre-cancer or cancer can also sometimes cause itching as can menopausal atrophy.   In some cases, a biopsy is required.  Persistent itching like this is best initially evaluated by an Ob/Gyn.  Best wishes!

Possibly: We know that people without symptoms or eruptions can still shed &amp; transmit herpes virus which lies in nerve roots. I assume herpes virus in nerve roots in lower vertebrae could cause neuropathic pain in your case. A neurologist would be best to answer your question, however.

i had a tender sore vulva after sex. the tenderness has gone away but it is still itchy. no rash, lesions. no burning or stinging. what is this ?

Hard to say: Most likely the itching is is normal as you heal from the trauma and will resolve. If you used a condom or lubricant, itching may also be an allergic reaction. See your doctor if the itching worsens or is accompanied by discharge.
