Call your doctor: I do not know what your doctor saw but call him and may need some steroids or a physical therapy consult.In addition for your tailbone get a donut pillow to sit on should help.

i had a c-section about a week ago and was advised that i can occasionally take a spoon of liquid paraffin to assist with constipation and healing, will this have any effect the medication i'm currently taking (synaleve & voltaren 100 suppositories)?

Stool softener: liquid paraffin like mineral oil is a substance that is occasionally prescribed for constipation. One of the biggest drawbacks, though, is that it can interfere with absorption of other medications and nutrients. A better option would be a stool softener which attracts water molecules to the stool to make it softer and easier to pass. You will also have less anal leakage with the stool softener.

Abscess?: For the purpose of this interaction, I'm assuming, by "flu symptoms" you mean fever, chills, fatigue etc.  In my experience, recurring sore throat and "flu symptoms" could indicate an abscess which are kept under control, but not completely eradicated, by antibiotics.  See your doctor again and, if necessary, get a referral to an Ear, Nose &amp; Throat doctor.

INTERESTING MIX: Famtab is Famotidine for ulcers or to reduce stomach acid. Voltaren is an non-steroidal antiinflammatory agent and B12 helps with a lot of things like anemia and nervous system. Vitamin b6 (pyridoxine) is required for the synthesis of the neurotransmitters serotonin and norepinephrine. And for myelin formation.

NSAID allergy: Voltaren (diclofenac) is a member of the group of anti-inflammatory medications called non-steroidals.  Some patients with reactions to these react to several of them, and some react only to a particular one. People who react to many can usually still receive a medication called trilisate or choline magnesium trisalicylate. It does not cross-react with Aspirin or other nsaids. Steroids can also be used.
