Confusing question: Most vaccines are developed as individual products & after demonstrating success over time there is an effort to combine them with other vaccines to reduce the number of shots given. The present dtap is such a vaccine. It has been proven well tolerated and effective when given this way. The same goes for the MMR vaccine.

Depends: Some vaccines provide time limited benefit (whooping cough, tetanus,diphtheria, meningitis,flu) while others may last a lifetime (hepatitis B series, measles,HPV series). Some of the newer vaccines have not been used long enough to know if their benefit is lifetime or a booster is needed. All adults should review their vaccine status with their doc at their regular checkups.

Discuss With Doctor: Hepatitis B virus occurs world wide; is a cause of serious liver disease; is transmitted thru blood/body fluids. Immunization is effective for prevention &amp; post-exposure management. Vaccination after 2 doses provides protection in up to 80% of recipients. Overall vaccine efficacy is 90-95%. Blood test to confirm immunity after vaccination recommended for certain risk groups. Discuss with doctor.

i got covid the day before i was due for my second vaccine. i had to wait a month after my original second vaccine date. am i still fully protected against covid ?

: I would consider your immunity after natural covid much stronger than with any vaccine and consider not getting the booster for at least 90 days if at all. Some would suggest you wait 6 months.  You did not indicate the type of vaccine used and local officials may have a different approach. However, if similar to US vaccines, and at your age I would hold off getting it for now.

Yes: No problem getting the influenza vaccine (flu shot) after 6 months of age. If first timer, she will receive a 1/2 dose and repeat again 1 month later. You can still get the other catch up vaccines at the same time!
