Possibly not: I couldn't find an online label to look at the ingredients, but some aloe vera gels contain alcohol which could burn your vagina.  That could be what you felt.  Lubricants like astroglide might be safer, and more pleasant to use.

Need STI screening: Unprotected oral sex (given or received i.e. fellatio or cunilingus) associated with unprotected sexual-genital intercourse with someone who may be an oral or genital carrier of a sexually transmitted infection, does place you at risk for a STI in your oropharynx and in your pelvis. Consult a Gyn or an Infectious Disease doctor who specializes in screening and treatment of STIs to seek answers.

i went to the dr for abdom/back pain. they said i had a uti & prescribed bactrim. 30 minutes after the first dose i started to feel a tingling sensation in my vaginal area. i ended up swelling down there & still burning over 6 weeks now, normal?

: Definitely not normal. What you’re experiencing is an allergic reaction to Bactrim: sulfa to be specific. Stop the Bactrim immediately as nd ask your doctor for a different drug. Document sulfa allergy. You can take Benadryl for the swelling

There can be local inflammation of the nerves, and not just compression or mechanical irritation.  It depends very much where you are having the symptoms.
