i had my iui 24 hrs after the trigger shot. could you please let me know how long does sperm can live inside the uterus.is 24 hr ideal or 36?

Spermatozoa: The life span of spermatozoa depends on the location of the sperm.
After IUI, the spermatozoa can survive inside uterus upto 5 to 6 days. It is good to note that fertilization usually occurs within 24 hours from the time of ovulation. Good luck.

i had an iui and a few hours later had to strain to have a bowel movement. could some of the sperm have been pushed out of the uterus with straining.

Uterus no,vagina yes: Any sperm/semen that is inside the uterus stays, but any residual semen in the vagina may leak out.

Fertility specialist: Are often needed in these situations. Of course it is always recommended that women with PCOS exercise regularly and try to keep weight controlled. Diets that reduce sugar and that are high in fiber and vegetables/whole foods rather than processed are best. Sometimes adding metformin can be very successful in aiding PCOS patients achieve pregnancy. There's no substitute for expert advice though.

had my iui done 4 days bak.i didn't had any cramps/discomfort aftr iui.but some times i feel a tingly/itchy feeling near uterus & it goes away.reason?

Not unusual: The IUD is a foreign substance in the uterine canal. Such discomfort is not unusual in first week or so. Give it time and if it does not resolve to your satisfaction go to the clinic that inserted the IUD for checkup.

Not unusual: With an IUI, washed sperm is placed up in the uterine cavity. Frequently, the uterus will respond by contracting. You will feel this as cramping.

i had an iui 7 days ago, n about the 3rd day i been having lower back ache  comes n goes . i also have a extroverted uterus could this be a good sign?

Extroverted Uterus?: I'm not sure what you mean. You can anteverted, tilted forward, or retroverted, tilted backwards. It really doesn't matter. Extroverted is a new one on me. I'm not sure what it means if your uterus is outgoing and makes friends easily?

Uncertain: You are not clear about when the IUI was performed.  You are having confusing symptoms that might be related to hormones used for the fertility cycle or related to pregnancy - check a pregnancy test.

Discharge: Most often, infections are treated with antibiotics and not cauterization. However, after cauterization, you can experience discharge, foul odor and pain. It usually resolves with time. You can get pregnant after cauterization. You may have difficulty due to your age rather than the procedure

No difference: Probbaly that soon does not make a difference. Usually every other day after IUI is fine. Would not have too much sex after iui.

iui done 40 min after sperm wash collection.do i still have hopes? dr said sample was with buffered saline so not to worry.can i get pregnant ?

Sounds ok: It sounds like your IUI was done appropriately. In about 2 weeks you can do a pregnancy test to find out.
