Yes,: depending on where the inflammation is, the severity, and how the MRI is performed, some inflammatory processes may  be difficult or impossible to detect on MRI.

May not : If the radiologist has enough clinical information he or she may find some contributing finding on the mri. The diagnosis for ilioinguinal and iliohypogastric nerve irritation/inflammation (usually due to entrapment) remains largely a clinical one, meaning an imaging modality can help support the diagnosis but a normal study will not rule it out.

how likely inflammation of the urethra causes cancer of the urethra? what can i do to protect my self from getting it, i have a tight pelvis and i keep getting urethral inflammations last test found rbc in my urine iam so scared?

: From my experience seeing a couple of urethral cancer cases, I agree that urethral cancer is devastating &amp; rapidly spreading by the time it's diagnosed but you're much too young to be obscessing about it. We don't know what causes it. Instead, if you're not satisfied with your current care, consult a urologist at a department of urology at a university hospital near you for a second opinion&amp; tests

There are many things that can cause the skin to get inflamed from a sunburn to an allergic reaction to simply spending too much time in one position laying on that side.  Does it itch, hurt, is it getting worse, better, what have you done for it,  how long has it been there,  etc.  An in-person doctor visit will be your best bet to get the answer you want.

Generally not good: Elevated ESR indicates inflammation and that is almost always and indication of some disease, usually an infection.  It can be elevated in normal pregnancy.

: Presumably by "inflammation cream" you mean a corticosteroid like hydrocortisone, or perhaps a more potent steroid by prescription. Do not do this without knowing the cause of the pain; it could make things worse. See a doctorn.
