However, prolonged pt is may be due to liver disease or some medication you may be taking.  Discuss the matter with your doctor.

Normal: The normal range is for someone who was not given dexamethasone.  With dexamethasone the morning cortisol level should be under 3 mcg/dl.  Your result of 1.0 is the correct result and shows that your adrenal glands are not over producing cortisol.

Nothing: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, a urine pH of 8.5 by itself is not a cause for concern, especially if you are a vegetarian.

There are other causes ranging from the enzyme being tagged with an antibody to mumps to a shot of an opiate.
