Folliculitis: Or skin infection.  Hot shower to clean up the area, if you have fever or it doesn&#x27;t clear up in a day or two, see your doctor.  If it has pus, your body is doing its work clearing out this infection.

This may also cause some changes in hormone levels that may cause irregular cycles, some male type hormones that cause abnormal hair growth, acne, or other abnormal patterns with your period.  Some people report weight changes and other symptoms. You should monitor your cycles for a couple of months to see if there is a pattern.

I : I would get checkeed for herpes.  It my be nothing. But the location of the bump on the edge of the lip is a common location for herpes infection.   It could be just a zit, but you never can tell.  Herpes usually is painful and becomes ulcerated.

No : Birth control (estrogen containing) are usually helpful. A good skin regimen is key for acne and scars are but the blotchy uneven skin tone may need laser resurfacing with a dermatologist
