No.: You do not have more or different infections from a drink a day.
Getting totally drunk and vomiting and having the vomit go into the lungs can go around immune protection. Living on alcohol and not getting any food weakens the immune system. That's very different than 1 drink a day.

With some medication: Yes,  With certain medication alcohol is prohibited, contraindicated, and dangerous.  If you're taking medications it is always a good idea to talk with your doctor about alcohol use.

Generally: It is generally contraindicated with most medications to drink alcohol and take the medicine.  Some medications are more strongly contraindicated.  Read the labels, but as a good rule, don't drink and take medications.

Depends: Many factors including personal and family history of drug and alcohol abuse/dependence, ones medical history, the size of the drink and the reason for use would color my opinion. In general however recent reports have indicated that moderate drinking (defined as one drink per day for women) may lessen the risk for cardiovascular disease- r this amount of use also increases the risk of accidents.

Trintellix: I would be reluctant to ingest more than one alcoholic beverage while taking this antidepressant medication. I have found that heavy amounts of alcohol intake may change the way some medications work.

Never mix: any alcohol/antihistamine with social drinking....even beer, unless you would like to spend a night or two in the ER.

Depends: Both can increase anxiety and ocd symptoms because they cause and effect our overall health and ability to deal with stress. Excessive use would be particularly harmful as it dysregulates us. Often substance use starts out as an attempt to regulate emotions but it backfires.

Whoa!: Alcohol disrupts sleep, so does vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine). Sleep is essential for proper brain function. If you need vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine), presumably to treat adhd, then you should consider backing down on the alcohol consumption. Alcohol is also anxiogenic and depressogenic, so is vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine). If you have anxiety or depression, that's another reason to minimize alcohol intake.

why does a single alcoholic drink sometimes cause a bigger hangover than two or even three drinks at other times?

Hang over: Maybe the type of beverage, maybe you are not hydrated or haven't eaten.  Maybe you have low alcohol tolerance.  Hydrating with water before, during, and after gathering is always beneficial. Munchings also is good to prevent hang over. Alcohol + munchings= beer belly.
