2nd  Stage of Labor: This is from the point at which your cervix is fully dilated (10 cm) and the baby is delivered but placenta is not. Depending on whether it is your first pregnancy or not, it can take minutes to hours but usually less than 2 hrs. This is  when you will do most of the pushing and can be a risky time for both mother and baby. Babies can get stuck or the uterus or vaginal orifice can be damaged.

Masterbation: Masterbation should feel the same. Uterine contraction plays little if any role in the sensory experience of orgasm. Pelvic muscles contract during orgasm to produce the "contractile feel". Less than 3% of all women require the uterus to achieve orgasm as it is clitoral stimulation that "works" . A supracervical hysterectomy may be done if one can only orgasm with vaginal penetration.

Cervical change: Braxton-Hicks contractions are real contractions, but are not putting you into labor, as evidenced by changing your cervix.  Keep well hydrated, and time them.  If they are coming ever 5 minutes, you need to be evaluated by your obstetrician.

Late cycle cramps: If you're cycle is late the lining of the uterus tends to continue to thicken.  As a result you may have more then the usual amount and duration of uterine cramps, which may feel like contractions.  Your GYN may need to give provera to bring on your period if this continues.

Don't know: It sounds like that their may have been some interruption of the nerve pathways post Novasure.  Nerves have been known to regenerate or find alternate pathways so I would not give up hope yet that the "full orgasm" experience may not return. Make sure that you are not peri menopausal as declining hormones also can cause your problem.

IBUPROFEN, NAPROXEN: Medications such as Ibuprofen (motrin) or Naproxen (aleve) can be helpful in reducing menstrual cramping.  Ibuprofen can be taken in doses ranging from 400, 600, 800 mg, every 4, 6, or 8 hours with each increase in dosage.
