A long list: There are many conditions that satisfy these criterion.  Included are various strokes, brain tumors and aneurysms and metabolic conditions such as diabetes.  There are a number of inherited conditions which might start as a visual problem such as ataxia telangiectasia.  Toxic conditions such as methyl alcohol poisoning also can start with vision loss.

i have been diagnosed with benign concentric annular macula dystrophy im in my 30s can it start at this young age and what kind of sight loss can i expect?

BCAMD: It starts around age of 30. Family members can also be affected so they should be checked. The dystrophy is not very well described because it is rare. But based on prior cases most preserve good day time vision but may experience night vision and color vision changes. The changes start a decade or two later, so the changes are slow to start. Continue follow up with retina doc. Good luck.

Possible: Fibromuscular dysplasia is the abnormal growth of cells in the walls of arteries that  cause them to narrow or bulge. The carotid arteries, which supply blood to the brain, are commonly affected. A branch of this, the ophthalmic artery supplies blood to your optic nerve and eye.  If its affected it can cause ischemia- poor blood flow, which presents as optic nerve swelling and visual loss.

Not a TIA: If you still have vision loss beyond a few hours, you did not have a tia, you had a stroke.  If it is getting worse, go directly to the emergency department now.  Urgent treatment can stop the loss and maybe reverse it.

Floaters : Floaters are a common occurrence and generally do not pose much risk.  However, anyone who develops new onset of floaters or if the floaters worsen, must have a full dilated exam by an ophthalmologist.  Given your age, the likelihood of retinal pathology is low, but if you are concerned, schedule an appointment with your doctor.
