when i had a urine test today, it came back abnormal. but my question is, what does transitional cells value occ-3 mean. all others have numbers. this just says a value of occ-3?

: I would like to know the results of the rest of the urinalysis. Transitional cells line parts of the urinary tract.  Only occasional cells, probably 3. per high powered field, were seen on the microscopic exam of your urine. This isn't necessarily serious, but clumps or numerous transitional cells in a microscopic exam could indicate infection or tumor. Your MD knows your history&amp;test results best

Urinalysis results: "Occ" usually means occasional, as in "occ WBC" = a few white blood cells seen. Usually it means very few present, a normal result, and nothing to worry about. If in doubt, check with the doctor who ordered the test.

See a dr: You can have sleep problems from snoring, apnea, restless legs, poor sleep hygeine, anxiety/depression, napping during the day, night seizures, noises in the neighborhood waking you up, bed bugs, waking up to use the bathroom, acid reflux, allergies, or any number of things. I recommend seeing a doctor to get checked out.

Knee pain: It is not clear why you are having complications from your surgery.  Followup with your orthopedic surgeon, get an MRI if necessary and seek out a second opinion.

You are certainly: not the only one who suffers from panic disorder.  There really is no timetable for how long a panic attack should last, as most people can have the anticipatory anxiety prior to and after the actual episode which makes it feel like the attack will last forever.  Certain types of panic disorder, such as that with agoraphobia, will last as long as you are exposed to the open environment.

Urinalysis: This partly repeats yesterday's question. "OCC" means occasional, meaning only.a few bacteria were seen. This is an entirely normal urinalysis result. If you remain uncertain or concerned, check with a doctor or clinic.

Relax: A mild, hanging-on winter chest cold can do this. If it persists for two weeks, get seen by your physician. If it began at the time of chest-cold symptoms it is very unlikely to be cancer.

not be working?

Lipid level?: By our guidelines, the best medical care includes treatment with a statin.  The risk of liver or other serious side effects is quite low.  The risk of you carotid, and possibly other atherosclerotic disease progressing and causing an event is much higher.
