Low risk: The skin on a Becker's has only a slightly greater chance than other skin of developing melanoma, and as far as I know no increase for other cancers. Removal with laser isn't going to be perfect. Richard Gere showed his off in lovemaking scenes, other male models / actors have kept theirs, and the several physicians I know who have a Becker's all like them. "That's where a bear licked me!"

You are in trouble: The presence of any benign nevi cells left to the chance  for growth usually over a prolonged period of time will continue to transform and occasionally metastasize without regrowth  of the primary lesion.  If you leave it alone, it will  grow on you.
