Possibly migraines: Jimmy appears to have migraine headache. Many times associated with headaches are pain behind the eyes, nausea, vomiting, blurry vision, bothered by light. I suggest you ask your doctor to send you for a brain MRI because your doctor wants to be sure that other causes of nausea and eye pain are ruled out. Symptoms as you described can be caused by other factors and may appear as a migraine.

See your physician.: Mild eye pain can be from many different reasons some more significant than others. The wisest thing to do is to go to your primary physician or alternatively go to an ophthalmologist or optometrist to have your eyes examined. They will decide if further work-up is needed.

: I've had a few patients note minor burning sensation in the eyes during high dose oral corticosteroid treatment, but no eye pain per se.

TMD: All symptoms consistent with TMD. The burning less so than other symptoms. Make sure your TMD is managed by a TMJ spcialiist. Any dentist can be a TMJ expert with the proper training and experience. Most commonly, oral surgeons, prosthodontists, and orofacial pain specialists. Ask your MD, your dentist and your dental society for referrals.

Take A Look: Any chemical exposure in the eye has the potential for problems. Depending on the pH and whether acidic or basic will make a significant difference.
Ongoing eye symptoms should always be taken seriously and seeing a doctor or eye specialist for an in-person exam ASAP is prudent in all cases.

Meningitis: Are you taking any tetracycline type antibiotics or high doses of vitamin a? You may have a condition that mimics meningitis, namely psedotumor cerebri. Consult your doctor for a definitive diagnosis.

Aseptic meningitis: You most likely have a mild form of NON-bacterial meningitis. Don't be alarmed because there are many, many kinds of meningitis - and probably you are thinking of the worst one! But you don't have that. You probably have a mild viral infection (enterovirus). I would call your primary to get a formal check-up. Tylenol (acetaminophen) and fluids (ginger tea) to help with symptoms should help. You will be fine!
