: Ramsay Hunt syndrome is a result of Herpes zoster infection (shingles) involving geniculate ganglion.  Affected patient develops facial paresis, hyperacusis, loss of taste (unilateral), decrease in tear formation and salivation.

Stay physically active if possible.  There are a number of over the counter laxatives that can be taken orally to help pass retained fecal matter.

Dear Woodchuck: Is the pain from your back injury or your headaches a contributing factor. I don't why you are experiencing sleep problems. Try using good sleep hygiene. If that doesn't wor please see your doctor for medical evaluation. Sometimes a consultation with a sleep specialist is needed & a somnogram (sleep study).

60-130: Normal resting heart rate can be a wide range. In children they typically can have resting heart rates in the 100's and is normal especially in infants. In adults it is usually 60-90, lower for those who exercise very regularly.  Above 100 in an adult can be normal with exercise but if it is above 120 at rest it could be a sign of an abnormal rhythm that can be checked by you doctor.
