Perhaps: Indications for a varicocele repair include:  same sided scrotal pain, sub fertility/infertility, cosmetic concerns, poor left sided testiicular growth, bilateral varicoceles, among others.  If the pain is due to the varicocele, it will likely resolve.  If it is not due to the varicocele, it will not respond.  Fixing it does not guarantee fertility or being pain free.

See edocrinologist : This sounds like an endocrine problem that needs a good work up and then treatment depending on your needs and goals.  An endocrinologist or Urologist with experience in endocrine problems is your best bet.  You may need to go to Rome or Paris etc to find the specialist.

There is a cause?: Narrowing of the PUJ can be caused by scar or some other pathology.
This can produce what is called Hydronephrosis which would be proportionate to the degree of obstruction.
Your mother should consult a Urologist to check if she needs further tests to find the cause and correct the problem before the obstruction causes  any damage to her kidney.

: A CT scan can show liver size as can an MRI or ultrasound but CT scan uses a lot of radiation, the others use none &amp; are better choices. A liver size over 15 cms as measured from the middle of a line in the middle of your chest is considered enlarged. The cause of an enlarged liver is best investigated by a hepatologist or gastroenterologist.
