It's not sugar: Sugar intake has nothing to do with diabetes, although the calories are "empty" without nutrition. It's age, family history and weight! it's the total calories you take in vs. Those you born off, if you're overweight and have a family history of diabetes, decrease  your caloric intake.

May help : Baking soda may help reduce eye redness and irritation. Mix 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda in 1/2 cup of water. This makes a soothing eyewash.  If the symptoms do not improve see your doctor to evaluate for any infection or other cause.

No: Outbreaks of genital herpes are treated with antiviral agents, such as acyclovir, famciclovir, or valacyclovir. The duration of therapy is usually 7-10 days. These medications are also used for long-term suppressive therapy. Baking soda should have no effect on the lesions or duration of the episode. Sometimes women with painful urination resulting from the lesions may benefit from a sitz bath.

Flaking: Usually is due to dryness.  Try a steroid cream and a moisturizing cream.

Define clear liquids: "Clear liquids" are any food that is not solid at room or body temperature that will allow sunlight to pass through: ice pops, jello, broth or juices without particulates, soda, water, light tea. Avoid red-dyed foods that may leave residue that looks like blood to the colonoscopist. Confirm your selection with the performing doctor--you don't want to have to re-do the test due to a bad prep.

: Black is not a normal color and can be due to bleeding in the stomach or elsewhere in the GI tract. The dark color can also be due to the color of the drinks consumed. If you continue to vomit a black color, you should get it checked since alcohol can cause GI bleeding. If you begin to feel sick, including lightheadedness, then you definitely need to see a doctor ASAP. Good luck!

It won't: Whoever recommended this to you is misinformed. A hydroquinone bleach topically may help but i'd urge you not to use it -- you can make things worse. The pigment spots will fade on their own. I'm sorry your acne wasn't managed well, and hope it's now under control.

Baking Soda: see dr. for proper treatment.  The mechanisms of this compound do not indicate that sodium bicarbonate could provide proper treatment for an infection or definitive whitening.  It is also hard to use the proper dosing and using too much can be injurious. Be safe with your eyes and use the FDA proven and tested remedies to help you.  Best wishes.

Both not that good: Medically speaking, it is best to avoid sodas all together.
