Possibilities: Insect bites, allergic reaction, eczema, or other form of dermatitis. How long have you had this. Does it itch? Try Hydrocortisone cream. If this is ineffective, see podiatrist or dermatologist.

When in doubt-Mix.: Mix the Lamisil (terbinafine) with a small amount of topical antibiotic (Neosporin).

No: Please do not spray any antifungal medications into your mouth meant for athlete's foot. The general prescription by physicians is Nystatin swish-and-swallow for thrush. Please see your physician for further evaluation and treatment.

Keeping the nail bed clean and dry should be enough for it to heal. If you notice redness or pus around the injury you should see a medical provider as antibiotics by mouth may be necessary.
