Echo: Echo is the simplest, easiest, cheapest, fastest way to determine the heart's strength ("ejection fraction"). Cardiac output, which is the product of heart rate and stroke volume (the amt of blood ejected per beat) can be calculated. Mri is more accurate but far more expensive and takes longer. Cardiac catheterization is the oldest way & still works fine for both but is invasive & more expensive.

MRA: I would give the advantage to MRA with contrast.. The picture resolution is very high and the image does not depend on patient's body habitus!!

Palpitations: Palpitations have many causes from anxiety through anatomic and physiologic abnormalities. The feeling of bounding usually relates to the volume of blood pumped with each palpitation. There is no simple single answer for the question. If you're bothered by the feeling should consult a dr. To see if the problem can be clarified. It sounds like you've had a good workup and don't need to worry.

Coronary: In general you get better info with CT at the expense of being exposed to  a lot of X Ray radiation

Depends: It depends on which type of stress test is done. If you are able, you will probably walk on a treadmill. If not, a medication will be injected into your vein. The doctor will examine your ekg and some pictures of your heart obtained by injecting slightly radioactive material into your vein. Sometimes, an echocardiogram is done instead of the injection.

If the goal heart rate is not achieved the test is non-diagnostic. It is a test for blockage of arteries to the heart.

YOu may well.: This could be a serious issue. You need to continue to follow with cardiologist as you may require some heart surgery depending on the location and severity of the hole in your heart. It may be an ASD or VSD.
The location is important and to close this may prevent a stroke.
