Many things...: There are many things that can be done to reduce the risk of heart attack or stroke. Control blood pressure, not smoking, control diabetes, lower cholesterol, exercise, limit alcohol use, low sodium and fat diet.  Discuss what are your most important risk factors with your physician and start working on those one by one.

Stage 4: This is stage  4 and need to be treated with chemotherapy.

Have courage: Be positive and optimistic. Do exercises under supervision of pt.  For your liver, follow right kind of diet, take the right meds and see a GI doctor. Depending on your case, you may be a candidate for liver transplantation.

It sounds as: if you have numerous things going on at once.  Trying to connect the dots and tie all problems to one condition is not easy.  As  colleague of mine once said, " A patient can have as many diseases on one pleases".  If Lupus is a concern, then seek proper work up.

No free lunch: There's no such thing as a free lunch. In other words, there're always some potential risks or side effects. If dietary supplement manufacturer claims no risks or side effects b/c it's natural, herbal, organic, gluten-free, then avoid it b/c they're lying. Acetaminophen can irritate liver but only if excessive dose. NSAIDs can increase heart attack risk but not guarantee that you'll suffer one.

None of these will automatically occur but these are some of the possible outcomes of untreated temporal arteritis.
