Maybe infertility: The reasons for a check up after an abortion are to make sure that you don't have an infection and that all the pregnancy tissue is gone. If you took your antibiotics, didn't have any significant pain, prolonged bleeding or fever and a urine pregnancy test is negative after 2-3 weeks, you may be ok to skip your follow-up. But make sure you're using birth control if you don't want to be pregnant.

i had medical (pill) abortion 21 days ago and i am still having bleeding which is more than spotting. it is fresh/red blood. is it normal? or should i do a follow up check again? (my first follow up showed the gestational sac was gone)?

: Bleeding at this stage is variable and unless it is very heavy, very painful, or associated with fever, then you can safely continue to observe. If this does not resolve over the next two weeks then you should get checked again.

Med Ab/followup: Followup for a med ab is important if still bleeding, or if the testing of the material did not indicate that the termination was complete.  Check with the provider who performed the procedure, as it may still be appropriate for a f/u appointment.

Abortion/Uterus: There is no reason to have your uterus checked. The abortion removed some lining of the uterus which comes back. A single abortion has no bearing on your ability to get pregnant.

Do blood tests: I would start with a blood pregnancy test then repeat 3 days later.  This is to see to if the hormone level is going down to zero on its own.  If it is dropping quickly then just watch.  If it is the same or going up then the abortion medicine did not work - which happens occasionally - and you may need to have a surgical abortion or repeat the medication - see your doctor to discuss this.

question im having an abortion 7/11 about 6wks preg and i had liposuction set for 7/21 how far should i push it out ? also what happens if i go through with the lipo on 21st ? just want to know?

: There is no rush for the second procedure so if I was your doctor I would recommend to postpone the liposuction appointment for at least a month. It is just common sense, do not challenge or abuse your body too much.
