Calcium "director": While vit k is important in blood coagulation, vit k2 (menaquinone) is important in channeling calcium to bone to prevent osteoporosis, and in doing so, decreases available calcium from entering the urine.  Should probably betaken in conjunction with vit d2/3 and daily exercise.

Yes: The stent is not in the path of the semen and won't cause any issues with ejaculation.

Stents and pain: Stents aren't always uncomfortable. They come in different lengths and diameters. Even when properly sized and placed, some patients have pain. Most experience urinary frequency, urgency or blood in the urine until the stent is removed. Others have absolutely no discomfort. There are a few patients who have kidney stone type pain (colic) with a stent in. It's not common.

Kidney stones: Drink plenty of water. Passing blood clots can also cause severe pain. If a lot of bleeding or pain getting worse you should go back to your doctor as soon as possible.

SM relaxants: She must have already given smooth muscle relaxants to help relieve spasms.
Most important is to make sure you see a nephrologist in your area to help prevent formation of further kidney stones. Your stone analysis would tell type of stone.

Need a specialist: It sounds like you've read or been told correctly: increase water/fluids and decrease sodium. You might have had residual stone debri as a cause or you may have an infection related type stone. There are also genetic, inherited, and dietary causes of stones that simply increasing fluids and cutting back on sodium will not address. You should seek the care of a nephrologist for further testing.

i have had kidney stones removed thru a hole in my back, using the down below method and had them blasted. now i have ecoli colonized in my kidneys. could it have been caused from the kidney stone removal?

: No. Sometimes the stones are infected and cause infection of the kidney at tiome of surgery. This can be treated

: Not clear from your post if the stent was significantly pulled outward.  There are good reasons for the stent to remain for several days.  Contact your doctor and let her (him) know what has happened, as a direct exam may be helpful.

Trimethoprim: This medication can produce the symptoms you are having, as can many other conditions. There are other forms of antibiotic prophylaxis that can be tried for UTI and you need to discuss this with the doctor treating you. Good luck.

Calcium metabolism : Start with your daughter's regular doctor. You may need to see an endocrinologist or a head & neck surgeon as well, depending on what examinations, blood tests and scans reveal.
