DoWeSeeEyeToEye?: Did it get torn while you were wearing it?? Then, maybe. If not, probably not. But you won't know for sure until someone looks at it. Some clues to a problem are lots of pain, discharge and problems with vision in that eye. Maybe you tore the lens taking it out and you are OK. Are these the long-acting kind? If not, shame on you. All in all, the contact lens is pretty soft so you should be OK.

Uncomfortable: A torn lens will be irritating and it may not center well so the vision is less clear.  It is simply not optimum but probably not harmful in and of itself, although such a lens will decenter and cause discomfort.

Accepted Answer

Depends: Many soft lenses are designed to be worn overnight and sometimes several days at a time.  Rigid lenses are less tolerant of this and you might suffer oxygen deprivation to your cornea (contact lens overwear).   If the eye gets red from overnight use, take the lens out and see your ophthalmologist if the redness lasts to the next day.

Don't do it.: You risk your eyes if you sleep in contact lenses.  There is a great risk of infection.  In addition, you increase your risk of inflammatory conditions such as keratits and giant papillary conjunctivitis.  Your eyes are precious - don't put them at risk.

Their eyes: Change color.  Be sure to get the colored contacts that correct astigmatism.

You risk eye damage: You risk abrading your corneas or getting an infection of the cornea called an ulcer.

Hopefully 20/20: Are you asking what your vision would be if you were not wearing contact lenses or glasses?  You would be around 20/100 to 20/200 based on my experience.  This is assuming that you do see 20/20 with your -4.50 contact lenses.

Yes: Most people will see well with spherical contact lenses if they have 0.75 diopters of astigmatism.
