Rupture: If left untreated, the appendix will typically rupture within 2-3 days of the onset of symptoms.  The consequence of rupture is quite variable, with some people having life-threatening infections and others developing a relatively minor infection.  The data is very convincing with respect to the best management of appendicitis: remove it as soon as possible.

It can progress to: Abscess, generalized peritonitis, septicemia, and death.  Historically, before appendectomies could be safely done, it was a major cause of death in otherwise healthy adults.

Your: Appendix is on the right although a very long appendix can stretch to the left side. Interestingly diverticulitis occurs on the left side and was known as left sided appendicitis as the symptoms were the same as appendicitis but on the left side. If you are symptomatic, see your doctor or go to the er.

Probably not: The appendix is normally located in the right lower quadrant of the abdomen, so that is where the pain & tenderness localize in appendicitis. Only very rarely is the appendix located on the left side, such as in situs inversus or intestinal malrotation; appendicitis is such a case would cause left-sided pain/tenderness. Colon or left tubo-ovarian problems might be considered with left-sided pain.

Low likelihood: Causes of recurrent LLQ abdominal discomfort may be identified by first addressing accompanying signs/symptoms so as to localize the organ involved: vaginal discharge or bleeding, alteration in periods, pregnancy risk? Fever, nausea, vomiting, altered stool pattern, blood with stool, tenderness, distension? Painful urination, blood in urine? Recent trauma, herniations? Age? Gender? Risk factors?

Not necessary: It might be due to other problems in the abdomen, and it is common to have genital tract related pain at this age.
I would like to suggest for the pain to be checked out in ER for full assessment and management as needed.

Yes: If one has an appendix, it can always be subject to inflammation from an infection, obstruction, etc. Therefore, it's possible to still have appendicitis regardless of its location (ascending colon on the left side could be due to conditions like situs inversus, for example).

Not an emergency: Although what you describe does not sound like an emergency that needs ED visit it would be a good idea to go to see your regular doctor soon to figure out why you are nauseous every day.

If you have: severe pain then don't get on an airplane.  Severe abdominal pain should be checked at an  ER that is close to your current location. Take care.
