Whatever works for u: Whether it is the pill or shot matters little as long as you take the pill regularly everyday and obtain your shots q 3 months as needed. both will work to prevent pregnancy.

Depends: They all have good and bad sides. The pills may be a good option. The Implanon one that gets put in your arm has a weight restriction to be under 200 pounds. The Progesterone shot can also add more weight gain. Condoms and spermicide can be a good option also. You can discuss this with your doctor also.

Oral contraceptive pills: Oral contraceptive pills seems to be very helpful for polycystic ovary syndrome. Not only does it provide contraception and regulate the menstrual cycle but it will also help with hirsutism by binding the excessive male hormones.

Many options: Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud can minimize or eliminate your cycle. The depoprovera usually stops your cyc;le. Birth control pills, the patch and NuvaRing regulate the cycle and can decrease the amount of bleeding. Nexplanon causes irregular but usually very light bleeding.

Endometriosis: Endometriosis is progressive, and the scar tissue that develops from inflammation can cause sterility.  Any low dose oral contraceptive is advised (Seasonal or Seasonique, YAZ, etc.) for both reduction of pain and inflammation, but will not affect autoimmune issues or true fibromyalgia.

Several choices: Pretty much all of the newer pills and a number of 'older' pills, which have gone generic, will do the trick.  The issues with weight gain and acne were related to some of the original progestins in pills having 'androgenic' side-effects.  Talking to your doctor about your concerns and how your cycles are in general will help to find the best pill for you.

Schedule a visit: This is an issue best decided after a full history and exam by your doc/obgyn. Your prior medical history or chronic medications may eliminate some types. Your desire to make it permanent/reversible  factors in. Your ability to remember a daily pill vs periodic visits for injections would count. A copper IUD may be the simplest non-hormonal method but it is pricey &amp; placement is uncomfortable.

There are no BC pill: That will stop that, if indeed u are having premature ovarian failure and want to preserve your fertility you should see a reproductive endocrinologist- ( infertilty specialist ) for possible egg harvest to freeze before the ovaries have totally failed.
