Bloating - fluid : Retention & constipation. Reasons for missed/late periods: low body wt, obesity, marked  wt ^ or v, over-exercise, endurance athletics, breast-feeding, ^ stress, illness, eating disorders (bulimia or anorexia), anovulatory cycle (no egg released), travel, hormone irregularities, drug use, meds (i.e., birth control) or medical problems (polycystic ovary syndrome). #1 reason is pregnancy.

Bloating, pregnancy : Eat non spicy foods in small portions. Do  not eat late into the night. Maalox or Pepcid (famotidine) can be helpful. Please see your doctor as well. It is not good to self treat while pregnant. It can be dangerous.

Actually: I allow my patients to use simethicone (gas x) for bloating.  If this is from constipation, you can also use metamucil, colace, dulcolax and milk of magnesia (magnesium hydroxide).  If your IBD causes diarrhea you can safely use immodium (generic fine), pepto bismol, kaopectate.  I usually hand a list of safe meds for common problems at the first visit.  Ask your OB if he/she has one.

Maybe: Given this small amount of info, you could be pregnant. The best way to tell is to get a urine pregnancy test - either from doctor or a home test. These tests are very reliable when done correctly.

Not typical: Those are not typical symptoms to have once you stop this particular medication. There may be something else going on. Consider a follow up with your fertility specialist

Pregnancy possible: if you have had unprotected sex/intercourse; and you have irregular periods or this period is different from your usual period; you should take a pregnancy test for confirmation. You didn't say when your last period was that lasted 4 days. If the bloating and digestion problems are new and persists, you should see a doctor for further evaluation.

Possible : It is definetly possible based on symptoms. The incidence of tubal failure can vary depending  on type of tubal.  For your tubal procedure we usually state 5 % failure rate.

Prob not but...: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate. They are the same tests used in a doctors office. They can detect a pregnancy 7-10 days after conception. The best time to take one is when you miss your period.  If you doubt the result you can repeat it in 1-2 days.  If the pain does not resolve it should be evaluated.

Other causes are...: Pregnancy is the most common cause of a missed period. If not pregnant, other causes of a late or missed period include:  excessive weight loss or weight gain, increased exercising, emotional stress, having an illness, traveling, medicines (especially birth control pills), hormonal disorders, etc…  a visit to one’s ob-gyn doctor is a good idea if symptoms are persistent, recurring, or worrisome.

I would treat reflux: Ranititidine is generic for zantac (ranitidine) and is safe in pregnancy.  I get 150 mg per day helps the reflux and allows you to sleep.  Good luck.
