Don't rush it: Recovery after a miscarriage is not just physical; there is an emotional loss also.  The woman needs care and time to grieve. In general she needs a healthy diet, with proteins, veggies, and fruits -- and lots of love and support.  Depending on her state, professional counseling may be needed also. By the way -- heavy smoking or exposure to 2nd hand smoke is not healthy for either of you. Be well.

No: Even if you are violently ill from a food, there is no evidence that it leads to a miscarriage.   However if you continue to eat the  food which causes you problem in absorbing essential nutrients and vitamins (as in gluten intolerance) , then you would have less success in the pregnancy.

i need to put on some weight but have lost my appetite for food since i had a miscarriage 2months ago? what can i do? am really under weight.

Talk to your doctor: Some women experience mild depressions after a miscarriage, as it is a significant emotional loss.  Get evaluated and see if you need counseling or medications for a short term to help you through this loss. 

Appetite issues are common with mild depressions. 

Hang in there, things should improve, but ask for help with this.

Avoid infections: Alcohol beverages or any foods containing alcohol should be strictly avoided. Other foods to avoid include:  Unpastereurized milk and/ cheeses; imported soft cheeses, such as Brie,           Gorgonzola, feta, and Roquefort;
 deli meats; refrigerated, smoked seafood; refrigerated pate or meat spreads; undercooked poultry, eg. chicken, turkey, eggs;   undercooked or raw meats.

Hematologist: APLS can result in other issues as well, it would be prudent to consult a hematologist to ensure that you do not have other manifestations of the disorder. There are no specific foods for treating or controlling APLS.
Have a healthy diet, exercise, drink plenty of water, have safe sex, if you do, and get HPV vaccine.

Very common question: But  the answer is 99% "no." if you have  + pregnancy test, different story…otherwise usually just an "off" period.

Pregnancy: I'm not a fan of taking anything like those during pregnancy. I feel a good prenatal multivitamin and nutritious diet suffice. I also feel all medications and supplements should be ok'd by your obstetrician. He/she and your pharmacist can advise you further and answer your question.
