Sandpapery and red: Scarlet fever is strep throat with a rash.  The rash normally appears after a fever and appears as a red rash with a sandpapery feel.  Some have referred to it as a sunburn on skin with goosebumps.  It usually appears on the body and spares the palms and soles of the feet.

i have strep throat, i'm on antibiotics, now i'm getting pimple like things on my body, its not a rash, is this normal?

Rashes can be pimple: like, flat red bumps, raised red bumps and many other varieties. You may have an allergic reaction to the antibiotic or you may have a virus and have a viral eruption. See dermatologist to get answer. if allergic reaction you need to switch antibiotics, if viral it will pass in time

i recently just finished taking amoxicillin bc i was diagnosed with strep throat. after i stopped taking it i got a full body rash for a few days and now (still since weeks ago) ive been feeling like theres hair stuck in my throat. any ideas?

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. You may try gargling with warm saline and drinking warm drinks when you experience this feeling. If that does not resolve the matter in a week or so, it would be prudent to see your doctor.

Tonsillar exsudate: You may have an adenovirus which can give you a white tonsillar exudate and a rash.Condition lasts for about 7 days.

Med for mono???: If you take ampicillin or amoxicillin for strep while you have mono, you will get a rash all over. So you treat the strep with Penicillin VK, not ampicillin. You may also have a rash as part of mono. After mono is gone, you can take amoxicillin without a rash. I am glad the rash is clearing, so you may not need to do anything. This does not mean all is well. Presumably it is not scarlet fever, but

Sounds like allergy: It sounds like your son may have developed an allergy to the antibiotic. You should go back to the doctor to confirm this. Although antihistamines like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or zyrtec will help with itching, symptoms like wheezing, difficulty breathing, swallowing trouble or swelling in the face or mouth are very concerning and should be addressed by a doctor right away.
