Uncertain diagnosis: This is a diagnosis given when the lymph node biopsy is not clearly normal or clearly cancerous. This should lead you to seek a second oipninion either with a lymphoma expert of a expert lymphoma Pathologist. Request your oncologist to help you in this regard. As long as you have fever and enlarged lymph nodes, the question of lymphoma as the cause has to be on our minds. Good luck

No.: Generally, when someone describes lymph nodes as "reactive", they mean that the lymph node abnormality / enlargement is caused by a benign condition (such as an irritant or infection or inflammation) and not a malignancy.  It is not always possible to determine to what a node is "reacting", but use of the wording "reactive" generally connotes a benign / non-malignant process.

Lymphadenitis: Or swollen lymph nodes due to viral or bacterial infection.  The swollen lymph nodes caused  by cancer is not very common condition. 
I don't think that your case is any different. .
If concerned, check with your pcp.

Common finding: The nodes int he posterior triangle of the neck are often enlarged from almost any kind of infection.  But if they persist then they might be enlarged for some other reason.  You should follow this carefully.

: I consider those of normal size (not swollen) and they are usually easily found in the neck. Unless there were other history or findings that suggest a problem I would ignore them. You don't try to fix normal. If you are fixated on the node issue after exams and consultation you should find someone to teach you stress reduction/relaxation. It appears you do not believe they can be normal.

Inflammed : Reactive lymph nodes are usually swollen and or tender from allergy or infection. After treatment for the primary cause of the reaction, the reactive lymph nodes resolve and the swelling and or tenderness resolves.

: Not suspicious for cancer.
You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!

: There are thousands of lymph node located around the body. Many in the neck, head,  behind the ear are prominent in kids as they are not buried in tissue . At rest these are often 1/4 inch in diameter and may grow to marble sized when reacting to a stimulus. The word reactive implies the noses have been stimulated and are doing their job, nothing more.
