Low is OK: In general we all worry about elevated bilirubin. Low bilirubin does not suggest any particular illness, it can be cause by certain medications and vitamin c.

Nothing: The "normal limits" are set so that a few percent of normal folks fall outside. A low total bilirubin is never a problem.

Any symptoms?: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, it may be your normal and there may not nothing out of order. You should discuss it with your doctor who knows more about your health.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

See a hepatologist: In this setting, an elevated alkaline phosphatase (also known as alk phos), may be an indicator of bile duct obstruction, but can also be elevated in a number of other diseases, including immune injury to the bile ducts, such as primary sclerosing cholangitis or primary biliary cirrhosis.  Alk phos can also be elevated in the presence of liver masses and infection.

May be normal: All lab results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Do you have any symptoms? Are there any risk factors for hep c? Please discuss the results with your doctor.

i'm a 37m. i have a constant high bilirubin (~2.1mg/dl), and for several years, high mpv (~13.4fl), and low platelets(140-160k). what does this mean?

Probably nothing: I'm going to assume you are not taking any medications that will raise your bilirubin, and do not have a mild birth defect causing hemolysis. You probably have gilbert's non-disease. Your physician knows the workup, which is simple -- if you turn a bit more yellow if you skip a few meals, you're basically got the diagnosis. I would not be worried about the platelets, but monitor them.

lupus patient- last round of tests show abnormally high bilirubin levels and abnormally low ast and alt. what would cause this and what would it mean?

Obstructive jaundice: You may have a "blockage" of your liver ducts due to your Lupus or one of the medication you are taking!
This needs further study ASAP
A Rheumatologist should be consulted

Maybe Gilbert's?: It is a familial (autosomal dominant), common (2-5% of people), unconjugated hyperbilirubinemia (blood bilirubin measures 1-5mg/dl), not due to breakdown of blood. It is associated with reduced enzyme levels of udp glycuronyl transferase, that results in jaundice when patients fast or suffer an infection. It does not shorten life or raise insurance rates, but may predispose to tylenol (acetaminophen) toxicity.

Could be: From the gallbladder if it is not functioning properly and giving you symptoms. Numbers alone really don't tell much without the story behind it.
