Slow stomach: Gastroparesis means a stomach ('gastro") that's slow to empty ("paresis")--seen in diabetics, with ischemia, pancreatic cancer, after viral infection, post-surgery, with stomach pacemaker problems (yes, the stomach has a pacemaker!), & in systemic illness. The stomach normally empties liquids in 1-2 hours, solids 4-6 hours after meals. A gastric emptying scan measures stomach transit of test meal.

Autoimmune Disease: Churg strauss syndrome is known as a vasculitis.  The answer can be very complicated, but here goes:  your body's immune system is attacking the small arteries in your body.  It may be triggered by allergic causes and has significant association with asthma and sinus disease.  By and large, we really don't know the cause, but we do know that the immune system is the problem.

Dry sensitive skin: Atopic dermatitis is a chronic skin condition that involves itchy rashes and dry sensitive skin.  Often foods, environmental allergies and dry air can make it worse.  It will wax and wane and can be treated daily with good moisturization and lubrication to keep the skin soft.  When areas become inflammed sometimes steroid creams are needed and if the skin is infected sometimes antibiotics are used.
