Abnormal motility: it sounds like you're talking about abnormal motility. The sperm dying within two hours is not important. The percentage of sperm  moving about abnormally is important.

Here are some...: The significance of sperm shape and semen viscosity has evolved &amp; changed over the decades especially over the past 10-15 yrs. Currently, normal sperm shape appears in only about 4%, and semen is expected to liquefy in 30 minutes; if not, high viscosity is considered but its significance remains unknown. For infertility, make sure both parties need to be simultaneously evaluated and counseled.

Just is: The viscosity is what his fluids make, and sometimes hydration can help but there is no rx for it.

No: It is mildly abnormal i would repeat the semen analysis to see how it varies. And the morphology is important as well. But that does not mean you will not be able to have a child. It is in truth a very mild change.

Men can take clomid (clomiphene) : Men too can take Clomid (clomiphene) to Increase their sperm counts. Doses and timing is different than women. It may take them longer , few months to see results. Talk to a Endocrinologist or reproductive endocrinology. Now adverse effects of all drugs before starting any therapy.

Semen analysis: First, both of you should be evaluated for infertility if you have been trying for over 1y to conceive a child.

Second, he needs to be examined for varicocele and also have another semen analysis.  There are multiple treatment avenues, but first he needs to see a urologist.

See answer : If you compare the results with the 2010 world health organization reference values for normal semen parameters, this semen sample is close to being within normal limits: sperm count very good, morphology adequate, and motility and vitality slightly low. Not knowing any further details, might  consider a repeat semen sample at some point given variability that can occur. Hope this helps.
