The higher the class, the more antibody was found against that food. Class 0 has little or no ige detected while class 6 means very high levels were found. Most allergists feel class 3 or higher indicates significant allergy.

Do the following:: Take otc benadryl, (diphenhydramine) 25 mg tabs, take 2 of them.  If allergic signs occur (such as tongue or lip swelling, wheezing, 'choking' sensation, severe hives, etc), go to nearest er and administer your Epipen if you have one.  Do not waste time 'thinking about it' as anaphylactic reactions can occur very quickly.  Fortunately, most are controlled with medications available in the E.R.

Otherwise, there are meds (tamiflu) that can be given if you actually get the flu.
