However, if you are interested in treating what is likely a genetic predisposition, the treatment for this is considered cosmetic in nature and can be addressed with the use of laser technology.

Was there an injury to the area or body part? Is it a varicose vein? Definitive treatment will depend on the cause.

Veins: Veins break secondary to dilation, pressure.  If the veins are weak either do to genetics or nutrition you can be more prone to breaking.  If you are on blood thinner, aspirin or nsaid that will cause issue.

Probably: If you have severe pain, swelling, or deformity of your foot you should be seen.  But if you have a simple discoloration that looks like perhaps a vein has broken , it is probably fine and should resolve quickly without problems.

Swollen hand veins.: Hand veins can swell for many reasons but the most common is certainly hereditary .  Other factors would be level of hydration, aging, sun exposure and loss of elasticity.  I doubt at age 32 that aging is a factor for you. Actually, I am amazed at the amount of women that i see with bulging hand veins.  They can be easily treated with laser or sclerotherapy and usually a combination of both.

Age Pressure Reflux: Varicose veins of the lower extremities can have various sources.  The varicose veins are a result of pooling of blood with increased venous blood pressure.  The best way to close the varicose veins can be determined on physical exam and a focus venous ultrasound examination by a physician skill in treating venous disease.
