Several things: Yeast infections are the most common cause of vaginal itching. Yeast medications are available over the counter. Trichomoniasis and herpes are two stds which can cause itching and pain in the vagina. A bladder infection can cause a pressure sensation in the vagina. Constipation can cause this too. Schedule a visit to help narrow down the problem.

Low estrogen: Right before your period, your hormones drop to their lowest level (triggering the period), and so your vagina may feel dry and be more susceptible to irritation/pain. It'll pass as your menses finishes. If it remains a problem though, please see an MD.

I'm not a gynecologist, but new sensation of pressure in your vagina would at least warrant a visit with your gyn, who can give you a reasonable list of possible causes and do the appropriate diagnostics. Many causes: Vaginal swelling is frequently from an infection such as a yeast infection.   It can also be from trauma during intercourse.  In older women, it can result from prolapse of the pelvic organs.  The best way to know for sure is to see a doctor and get an exam.  Best wishes!

Unlikely: Sometimes you can feel a collection of stool through the back wall of vagina. This would be consistent with the ability to "dislodge" the ball. Check for presence after your next bowel movement and if gone then no worries. If still present  need to see gyn for exam

In particular, trichomoniasis causes a frothy vaginal discharge, and this could be the only or the first symptom a woman is aware of.  If you have had unprotected sexual intercourse, you should be checked for STI.

No: If you're having pain with sex, i'd raise the point with your ob. Conveniently, you're seeing them nearly every week by this point. However, nothing you do from the outside like sex should affect the amniotic sac unless the sex is particularly "active" or you are inserting thin objects or chemicals. There are some positions that can cause pain or cause fetal distress, discuss these too.
