i have a sulfer smell in my nose and when i swollow the taste is in my mouth. my snot was green but now clear. what could cause this?

Sinus infection: Sounds like a sinus infection. If you were taking an antibiotic, sometimes this causes a funny taste in mouth.

Neurologist?: I would see a headache specialist as soon as you are able.  On the one hand they will hopefully be able to find the right treatment to control your symptoms.  On the other, they will be able to rule out a non-migraine cause to make sure you are not missing something.  I hope you feel better soon.

Inhalation: It's possible that inhalation or exposure from some toxic fumes or particles caused some type of pathology to the nasal passages and this caused problems with both taste and smell. Since you're not experiencing trouble breathing, cough or wheezing, damage to the lungs is unlikely. I predict smell and taste will gradually return to normal. See an Otolaryngologist as needed for evaluation.

Certain foods can: Certain foods can cause a sulfur odor, such as protein-containing foods (eggs, meats, etc...). If a person has some digestion symptoms, and is burping more burps or bigger burps, then he may notice the sulfur odor more.

Sputum production: Sometimes when you cough, a small blood vessel will break and a little blood gets in the sputum. This will make it have a taste. Producing sputum may mean you have bronchitis. Having GI symptoms along with respiratory symptoms could mean you have the flu. It sounds like you have some type of virus. Most of these are cleared by your immune system in a few days, but see your doctor if you get worse.
